What you need and how to submit an expression of interest for the Gas Security Fund when it opens on 12 January 2026.
What you need
Here’s a checklist of what you will need to submit to complete your expression of interest (EOI):
- copies of consents
- project budget
- full project Gantt chart
- financial statements for the last three years (including cashflow, balance sheet, profit and loss)
- qualified accountant produced profit and loss, cashflow and balance sheet forecasts, ten years.
Additional documents when available:
- trust deed (if applicable)
- feasibility study
- business case
- cost benefit analysis
- information memorandum (if used for capital raising)
- risk management plan
- economic impact assessment
- cultural impact assessment
- environmental impact assessment
- letters of support
- governance structure.
If your project is successful through the EOI process, you may be asked for additional information. Kānoa will tell you what else will need to be submitted.
