Bay of Plenty / Te Moana-a-Toi covers a large geographical area, including the wider Bay of Plenty, Tauranga, and Rotorua. Its climate, beaches, amenities and easy access to other major centres makes the Bay of Plenty a desirable place to live.
The region is home to many thriving industries, including horticulture, forestry, agriculture, transport, freight, energy and tourism.

Papamoa Surf Lifesaving Club
With funding support from Kānoa, a fit-for-purpose surf rescue community hub was constructed to replace the old, run down building that previously sat there.

A multi-purpose rescue centre that serves as a hub for surf lifesaving operations in the eastern region, with the unlikely cross-community collaboration with the Mount Maunganui Bridge Club.
